Moscow - Videodance workshop

Taking inspiration from the video work Terrestre-movement in still life by Kessler Twins collective (Simona Bertozzi, Celeste Taliani, Marcello Briguglio), the workshop will focus on the relationship between action and memory.
The physical action aloud to perceive the human body as a complex architecture, whose potentiality is best employed in the possibility to produce images. Nevertheless, images have to reach that kind of commitment, which goes beyond the literal and combines the physicality with a different perception of time.
Time is thus considered as a concrete and qualitative significant element. It stays as “duration”, as a process in itself. Time recalls memory. Body selects images.
